A few of you know I am about to bring out a novel ‘Birth’ shortly but there are other fiction/non-fiction books in various forms of development.

One such book is a currently untitled book of comedic dodgy 40-word dodgy blind date flash stories.

None of them are true stories, but I thought it would be fun to explore this in forty words.

The magician, Michael tried to impress her by making breadsticks disappear and then turning water into wine.

Melissa’s only magic trick was her attraction completely vanishing.

Two men went on a date, but it turned sour when one of them said he was a dog food taster.

The other was taken aback and said "Oh, I thought you said you were a hotdog taster."

They never went out again.

During their first date at Don Mario’s, he nonchalantly revealed he had been out on a different date for the past week. Shocked, she poured her glass of water over his head, leaving everyone else in the cafe in stitches.
